EACH ONE, TEACH ONE

We are growing! Over the past few weeks there have been a number of new students who have come forward. With new students it also means we need more tutors! We invite you to consider becoming a tutor. As a tutor you will work one-on-one with a student. Students may be an English Language Learner, working on adult basic education or pursuing a GED. Most tutors meet about once a week at a time that is mutually convenient for student and tutor.

All tutors go through a training session. We will be holding two New Tutor Training sessions soon: Monday, August 19 and Saturday, September 21 from 9:00am -noon at the ALC. You only need to attend one of the dates. If you know someone who is interested in becoming a tutor at the ALC, please have them contact Katie for more information.  You can also forward them this message and they can sign up here: August 19 Session OR September 21 Session.
