Challenge Goal Exceeded

The Adult Literacy Center of Ozaukee County is pleased to announce we have reached our challenge grant goal!  Thanks to your generous donations totaling over $8,000 along with the initial challenge, the ALC received over $14,000 to support literacy!

These funds will directly affect the lives of individuals committed to improving their education and life skills.  These students are studying English as a second language, pursuing a GED, or simply improving basic education skills.  By supporting ALC and its educational programming and services, you are helping adult learners achieve greater employment success, financial independence and community engagement.  A special thank you to the Zaun Foundation, the Endowment Fund of Grace Lutheran Church-Grafton and Board Director Bob Blazich and his wife Jan for providing the initial challenge grant! On behalf of the board of directors, staff, tutors and students thank you for supporting our mission!
